“I met Marc as a student in one of his courses at Stony Brook Southampton. I worked closely with him as an intern developing exhibits and creating graphics for the Avram Gallery on campus. Later at the main campus of Stony Brook University we collaborated on the installation and visuals for a comprehensive exhibit on environmental Art in the Student Activities Center Gallery. Throughout my undergraduate years, between terms, I worked with Marc initiating a catalogue raisonné of his father’s paintings. I took on extracurricular work with Marc because he is engaging to work with, he pushed me to think outside of the box, and look at things from different angles. Marc made class and our work together stimulating. He was a large part of why I decided to work for myself. His work ethic is something that I admire and aspired to mimic in my work life as well as personal life.”
